Introduction of the Company

Our experience originates from Chicago Bridge, a leading company in the storage tanks field,
which carried out many projects in Italy and abroad and where all of us had a chance to acquire extensive
and specific experience in the field of storage tanks of any type:
floating roof (up to 160,000 c.m.), fixed roof, low temperature and cryogenic tanks including 9% Nickel and Aluminium materials,
spheres and petrochemical installations.

We supply technical assistance and supervision for new tanks construction, maintenance,
modification and conversion of tanks as well as for field or shop fabrication.

The range of technical services that we can supply has been subsequently widened to include, through qualified technical staff,
the following services:
1) Basic design of tanks and spheres on the basis of all current codes ( API 650, API 620, ASME, BS 7777, etc.)
2) Preparation of welding procedure specifications and, if required, the execution of the applicable qualification tests for
manual and automatic welding at workshop.
3) Preparation of quality control and NDT specifications and quality guarantee manuals.
4) Supply of specific erection tools and fit-up equipment (for shell plates), rolling cages, scaffold brackets, roof air-raising equipment,
vacuum box ( flat and angle type )
5) Supply of automatic welding machines (double head automatic girth welding machine and vertomatic).

Our design services are provided by experienced qualified people and for the engineering work we have specialized draftsmen for CAD/DWG.

Technical assistance for the maintenance and improvement of storage tanks.

Our Company supplies technical assistance for works of maintenance, improvement and conversion of storage tanks of any type. Our services include:

1) Inspection to evaluate the tank’s condition and subsequent technical report inclusive of the recommendations on action to be taken.
2) Budget estimates of costs and time for the work execution.
3) Work specifications ( verify or prepare ).
4) Engineering.
5) Work supervision by our inspectors with specific experience on similar works.

We would also like to remind you that we have know-how and execution capability relative to the relocation of tanks by floating.

Thanks to this type of operation, the Aspropyrogos refinery in Greece was able to reclaim an area for 4-50.000 c.m. new tanks, moving out of it 3-20.000 c.m. tanks.
The API refinery of Falconara was able to better exploit the available areas.

Supply of specialized tools for erection and welding of tanks

Storage tank construction requires special erection and welding equipment, so our experience has taught us to supply all specialized tools for:

1) The erection ( fit-up equipment and scaffold equipment )
2) The welding ( double head automatic girth welding machine and vertomatic )
3) Vacuum box, flat type for bottom and roof, angle type for corner weld and compression bar-shell joint inspection.
4) Complete roof air-raising equipment including blowers.

We are in position to supply our Customers with all necessary equipment. The specific tools are:

1) Specific fit-up equipment, nuts, pins, key channel, finger bar, strongback, rolling scaffold, shell scaffold brackets, vertical ladders, wind girder scaffold, etc.
2) Preparation and testing of the double head automatic girth welding machine (with Lincoln or Esab type welding heads by customer choice ) and vertomatic (for vertical joints )
3) In addition to the flat type vacuum box we can supply angle type vacuum box either at 90° or other angle.
4) Door sheet with special entry and blowers connection, vent, “A” frame, cables, deflector sheave, hitch lug, snatch block, etc
